| BARNARDOS HELPING HANDS YOUNG VOLUNTEER AWARDS 2008. (Supported by Softech) CALL FOR NOMINATIONS Barnardos calls for nominations for the Barnardos "Helping Hands" Young Volunteer Awards. This is a competition which aims to promote volunteering among young people and to recognise the contribution that young people make by getting involved in volunteering. There is a top prize of a Laptop Computer and two prizes of €100.00 vouchers. Awards will be presented on 1st December 2008 at our annual volunteer lunch in the Radisson SAS Hotel, Dublin. The competition is open to anyone under the age of 25 years on the 31st December 2008. Volunteers can be nominated by themselves or by another person.
