Active Citizenship week 2009 has begun in South Dublin County with various events happening across the county.

Monday:

The launch of active citizenship week got under way at 10am in the Chamber of South Dublin County Council. Mayor Mick Duff launched the week with Minister John Curran in attendance. A good crowd listened to various inputs on Citizenship and Volunteering in South Dublin County.

The images of volunteering exhibition opened in the BIG PICTURE with over 135 photos on display.
