Did You Know?

The South Dublin County Volunteer Centre provides a Garda Vetting Service for organisations who do not have access to an "Garda Vetting Authorised Signatory" within their own organisation.

Since rolling out this service in 2007, we have process over 400 vetting forms for 20 organisations - both local and national. The number of organisations utilising the service is growing on a weekly basis.

The Volunteer Centre will also give advice, support and consultancy to organisations on all aspects of Vetting Volunteers.  We are happy to look over your policies for you or give you suggestions and practical advice on how to implement a Garda Vetting process within your organisation.

We are also happy to meet with Staff/Volunteers to allay any of their fears and answer any of the questions they may have about the implications of being Garda Vetted.
