Vodafone launch new World of Difference 3 month programme

As one of the 24 Vodafone Foundations around the world, Vodafone Ireland Foundation are dedicated to supporting groups across all segments of society and making a real difference in our community. Since 2003, they have provided funding of €4.5 million for a wide range of community causes and by selecting our partners carefully, we ensure the money goes further. Their motto is: “You make a difference, we make it easier". We're committed to encouraging innovative programmes that bring about lasting change and we make this happen by funding and working with a number of highly respected not-for-profit organisations

About the 3 month programme
This programme offers 30 people the chance to take a 3 month paid placement with an Irish charity of their choice. Each successful applicant will receive €5,000 for the 3 month placement, and the Vodafone Foundation also pays their PRSI, plus an administration fee to each chosen charity.   For more information about the programme and the application process, watch the video below.

How to apply 
The placements commence on 1 February 2011 and the application process is now open until 21 November 2010.
