On Wednesday, staff of the volunteer centre carried out outreaches in various libraries across the county promoting both the work of the volunteer centre and volunteering.


Wednesday evening saw a gathering of local politicians and local community groups who came together to have a round table discussion on issues affecting the county and to look at how we can work together to address the issues.  The evening was organised by Active Citizens Together (ACT), CPLN Partnership and South Dublin Community Platform.  The evening was chaired by Anna Lee of Dodder Valley Partnership and Mayor Mick Duff.
